About PSA Founder Nick Ramos

Nick Ramos—a retired Sergeant and K-9 handler from the New Mexico State Police.

Nick spent over 25 years on the streets doing what he teaches.

Throughout his career, Nick worked everything from routine calls to complex, multi-year investigations involving transnational criminal organizations stretching across multiple states.

As a first-line supervisor, he mastered the art of clear, defensible police report writing.

Now, he’s bringing that expertise to you.

Nick’s reputation speaks for itself. In 2010, he was named New Mexico’s Officer of the Year, and in 2011, the U.S. Attorney’s Office called him “a bloodhound for narcotics.”

He currently serves as a Deputy with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and shares his knowledge as a dynamic, high-energy presenter for top-tier organizations including HIDTA, INIA, BJA, CNOA, CNCA, and associations of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police.

Nick isn’t your typical lecturer. You’ll walk away sharper, more confident, and maybe even entertained.
